Class Utilization

The Class Utilization page helps you understand how your various instructors and classes are performing. The general logic for this page is to review, based by your set class capacities, how many of your customers sign into your various classes.

iKizmet now gives you the breakdown of which type of visits are being completed. What percentage of your utilization are members? How many first timers or visits are coming in on an Intro Offer? How many visits are coming from another club/studio in your network?

The updated Class Utilization page will now show you numbers based on the Day of the Week and the breakdown will give you a yearly option.

Jordan Meinster is the CEO of PickUp Fitness USA Franchise Company. He built his fitness business from the ground up to provide the industry of pickup basketball with structure and stability.

Jordan Meinster has always had a passion for pickup basketball. “I’ve always played pickup basketball. I never really played organized or on teams or in high school or college. I would go to local parks or gyms or rec centers and join any games that were running,” Jordan says. There were many frustrations that came with him playing pickup games versus structured, organized basketball games; the courts were typically crowded and dirty and there was usually no structure to filter people in and out of games. So, Jordan had an idea to “create a business where it’s pickup basketball and you can still show up whenever you want, but it’s more organized.”

iKizmet

Do you want to know the average number of visits by your entire client base? How about the difference in average visits from your various membership options? Or even how often your 10-class packs visit your business each month. The updated Average Visits per Client module in iKizmet allows you to filter by the different revenue categories to see the difference. It also allows you to compare, via a trend line different packages or categories.

The updated module can still be found on the Attendance page, third module down.

iKizmet will now give you access to your Check-Ins data. This module will match the report already in ClubReady but with some visuals and a deeper dive into the hours of those check-ins. Ask your SAM/CES or iKizmet support if you would like to turn on this new page.

iKizmet

Our new At Risk Members module is another tool to combat attrition. Using this module will allow you to see which of your members had been coming to classes and recently stopped visiting. This module will rank those At Risk Members by the amount of revenue they are generating. It will also give you the ability to include or exclude future bookings in the At Risk count.

If you want to dive a little deeper into your client base, then the new Demographics module is for you. This new page lets you see and group your clients by referral source, age, zip code, and gender. You can also see lifetime spend and visits. All of the data for this module is limited to what is entered into ClubReady.

iKizmet

We have rebuilt our mobile app! The backend coding will make it easier to update going forward. While the desktop version will always be more robust than the native mobile app this rebuild allows us to display certain metrics in the mobile app that we were not able to do before.

This app is included in your current iKizmet subscription. Using the same credentials as the desktop version to gain access.

In addition, iKizmet has updated some metrics on a few My Dashboard page modules.

We are now including Forecasted Revenue in the Total Revenue module. This allows a user to see what their forecasted end-of-month total revenue to be.

Scheduled Cancellations will now be shown in the Membership Units module. This data point is looking forward 60 days to see who is scheduled to cancel their agreement.

On the Membership Revenue module, we have replaced Average Revenue per Unit with Average Membership Revenue. The metric will show unique members instead of all transactions. If a member has multiple membership transactions in the month, they will only be included in the calculation once.

What made you decide to open your own franchise?  

Gevinski: “I’m a worker. I’m a workaholic. I always knew I was going to have my own sort of business, but I didn’t know what that would be. Finding a franchise, especially in something that I really believed in and already wanted for myself, has made it so much easier to follow the model. It’s still my own business. I have my own freedom to run the business how I like, but I have the support of the Corporate sales and marketing teams that they have to help support. That was almost a no-brainer.

The ability to track which members are not attending your club is critical to your business operations and revenue. Fortunately, iKizmet’s Zero Visit Members module, located under the Clients tab on the Memberships page, will show you exactly which of your members have yet to be in for a visit.

With this easy-to-read chart, you can easily flag those who need to use their membership package and get a list of your members who have yet to attend a service. You can also see the date of their last visit. Next, open the ‘Raw Data’ view to identify trends with recurring non-attenders, create a plan to re-engage, or potentially backfill those who will leave because of a lack of engagement. The insight created with your data can help you get ahead of any attrition that may be coming.

The iKizmet support team suggests you couple the Zero Visit Members Report with your Membership Retention Heatmap to pinpoint historical trends of engagement drop-off periods.

Rich joined the iKizmet team in 2015. The opportunity was exciting to him as one of his favorite things to say is “data never lies, but it may not always tell the whole truth”. Rich enjoys assisting his clients and brands grow through their data as he works with them to shape and define the metrics that make sense for their business.

Rich is a husband to his beautiful wife, as well as a father to his wonderful teenage daughter. While he is not looking at the data, data, data, he is riding horses and watching his daughter at her horse show jumping competitions. He enjoys playing guitar and spending time outside with his 3 horses (Hope, Echo, & Nate), 2 donkeys (Velma & Daphne), and 3 dogs (Eleven, Moxi, & Oliver).

I thoroughly enjoy working with people and one of my favorite parts of working at ClubReady is the amazing team we have in the Merchant Department. I enjoy ClubReady’s eagerness to work as one team with all of our internal collaboration.
